Design Printing does most of the finishing and assembling work itself and we make sure that your job is completed on time.

If we believe, in reviewing your job, that a certain element (binding, cutting or gluing, for example) of your project is best served by sending it out, we will do that. Ask us!

  • Be aware of the parent paper sizes and design your art work to get the most on a sheet, leaving less wasted paper.
  • Standards size art work: invitations, brochures, and books that fall into standard sizes and shapes are easier to print, fold or bind and are less expensive to mail.
  • Bundle your jobs, design and print as many elements of the projects at the same time.
  • Minimize the use of metallic inks, UV coatings and other finishes which can affect the recyclability of the paper after it is use.
  • If you are creating banners, leave a space for smaller sections to for date or time changes so you can reuse the main banner and specific times and dates can be printed on a smaller section and changed as needed.
  • If you are creating pages that will be used a lot by many different people, such as a reference catalogue, thoughtful choices of finishes and coatings can add life to those pages and require less frequent reprinting.
