Finishing Options

Sometimes the standard four-color print process is just not enough and a little something extra is needed to bring attention to your marketing piece. You might look at embellishing more visible marketing materials with either foil stamping or embossing finishes, particularly on the cover of a product catalog, special event program or annual report.

Foil stamping is the application of pigment or metallic foil in a variety of color options to paper, making it adhere to the surface and leaving the design of the die on the paper. The embossing process uses a male with a female die mold, pressing them together to form a raised imprint in the paper inserted between the two dies. The effect from both finishing options is impactful and visually striking and, when combined, can create an even more prominent and vibrant 3-D image on your all-important end product.
